To be completely honest, I really didn’t have any expectations going into it. I kept myself very open-minded and tried to keep myself from getting too nervous. I knew the photos would be beautiful because Amy’s photos of other women are already so beautiful, but I never expected mine to turn out the way they did. She captured a beauty that I had no clue I possessed. She was so kind and encouraging the entire shoot and made all my nerves go away.

I’ve been so insecure about my body for so long. I’ve had people take advantage of me and make me feel so ashamed of the body that I have. I’ve tried everything I could to become confident, but nothing seemed to stick. After I saw the pictures I literally started crying because I couldn’t believe it was me. I am working hard each and every to day to look at myself the way Amy’s lens captured me.
